Mona R. Shah has been a lawyer for over 20 years with a career focusing on insurance defense, and general litigation. She has handled a large variety of litigation matters, including complex personal injury, employment, toxic tort, construction defect, contract disputes and products liability.
Ms. Shah is also a Lecturer in Law with USC Gould School of Law where she teaches Legal Profession, which examines the basic California and American Bar Association Model Rules of Professional Conduct through a discussion of actual practice problems, case law, hypotheticals, and legal readings created to reflect real-world scenarios. She also teaches Academic and Professional Skills for U.S. Law Studies which is designed and designated for foreign LLM students.
Ms. Shah is dedicated to nonprofit work geared towards education and equality.
Ms. Shah earned her Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1999 and a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine in 1996.
